June 2008 in Key West, Florida: This was the first time I used my Nikon digital camera. I'm still getting used to it. Thankfully, Aleta was patient with me. The poor dolphin held this pose for 5 minutes while I tried to figure out the focusing.
What can I say about myself? I'm a retired cop turn writer and traveler. I have also rediscovered photography. I've own a Pentax and a Nikon since I was 15 years old. I used to have a darkroom in my basement, and for hours I'd develop black & white photographs. Recently, I purchased a digital Nikon camera. It's like learning photography all over again. I miss the darkroom, I felt more in control.
I'm also the author of the book The First Responders: The Untold Story of the NYPD & 9/11.
I am now certified in Animal Naturopathy and Homeopathy for cats & dogs.
